Virginie de Vinster is one of a kind. She did not attend a design school, neither did she work for big fashion houses. Her very own university was Africa where she worked for 15 years. She learned during her travels: she crossed the Sahel, sojourned in Ivory Coast, Benin, Togo and Ghana.
In Africa, Virginie started observing how weavers and dyers were executing their trade. She wandered African markets and hunted through stalls filled with multicoloured cloth. eased to amaze her. While travelling through the bush, she discovered a slower pace

This season I revisit some VdeVinster staples — Tie & Dye, Ikat and Tartan — in an easy-going and light-hearted way. Drawing inspiration from my youth in the 80s, the collection incorporates sun-kissed colors and bold patterns alongside unexpected elements like metallic paillettes, cowry shells, and contrasting appliqués.The pieces are humbly named after Indian gods and goddesses...
